The Heartless Shadow Chapter 11 Magic Restored!

  Jason stared at Scarlet and she rose threw her staff across the Arena. "I'm not even going to need that." She lunged at him with a sword that seemed to materialize mid swing. Somehow his reflexes sharpened and her movements slowed down and he side stepped and grabbed her arm and threw her away from him. She hit the wall with surprising force and she yelped. She stood up and growled, a little bit of blood dripping from her mouth. Terminus clapped, "That was amazing, Jason! It seems your magic is still locked up inside of you. Scarlet, you know what to do." She moved toward Jason lightning fast and appeared behind him and before he could react surrounded her fist with blood red magic and punched Jason in the middle of his back. He flew and landed in the sand on the other side of the Arena. Something seemed to turn and break inside of him and for a minute, he thought it was his bones, but something else happened. The icy cold feeling filled his veins and a gust of wind rose him to his feet. Electric blue energy surrounded him and electric sparked around his body. The sheer force of the energy shook the Arena and a few parts of it crumbled. "What amazing power! This is only part of your true strength, Jason!" He looked at his hands. "O-Only part?" Jason felt incredible, he felt amazing. He felt like he could will the world to stop rotating. "Finish the sparing match!" Confidence rose inside Jason's chest and he dashed at Scarlet. She seemed to slow down considerably and he clothes lined her with a giant explosion and cloud of dust.

   Jason jumped up and giant white wings sprouted from his back and he hovered in mid air. "T-This is amazing!" Terminus's face was stern and serious as he looked at Jason. He was thinking. Jason landed back into the Arena and Scarlet struggled to stand up and Jason felt bad. His energy had shrunk down, but he still had the icy cold feeling. He walked over to her, "Listen, I was caught up in the heat of the moment, I am sorry." "Do not show your enemy mercy, do not, for fucks sake, apologize to them." "Okay okay, sorry." "Baka! I told you not to apologize!" Jason rose his hands in defeat and reached out to her and wiped away blood from her face and she blushed before smacking him, "Baka! Baka! Baka! Bakaaaaaaaa!" Jason stood up, "Hey, what is your problem! I tried to help you!" "W-we're enemies!!" She tried to swing at Jason, but it was clear she didn't want to hurt him and hit him lightly.
